Charlotte partner Jay Suhr has been elected to serve on the Board of Directors of the Mecklenburg Bar Foundation (2009-2012). The Foundation is a charitable organization which has as its mission: to advance public understanding and respect for the rule of law and the role of the legal profession; to promote the highest ideals of professionalism, public service and access to the legal system; and to support the goals of the Mecklenburg County Bar.
