Jana Kolarik Anderson is a partner in the National Healthcare Practice Group at Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough LLP. After completing a law school concentration in health law, Ms. Kolarik Anderson has spent the last 11 years focusing on health law issues ranging from healthcare regulatory contracting issues to complex reimbursement and fraud and abuse issues.
Ms. Kolarik Anderson:

Counsels clients on fraud and abuse issues, including Federal and State anti-kickback statute and Stark Law compliance issues;

Advises clients with Medicare and Medicaid enrollment, coverage and payment issues;

Advises clients in the health regulatory requirements and hurdles related to transactions involving direct and indirect providers of healthcare items and services; and
-
Assists healthcare manufacturers, distributors, providers and suppliers in the development of healthcare compliance programs, including compliance training materials, policies, and procedures.
Ms. Kolarik Anderson speaks and writes frequently on healthcare compliance topics. She is a member of the American Health Lawyers Association and the Health and Business Law Sections of the American Bar Association. Ms. Kolarik Anderson is also a member of the District of Columbia and Florida Bar Associations.
Ms. Kolarik Anderson earned her Juris Doctor, with honors, in 2000 from the University of Maryland School of Law with a concentration in health law. She was Editor-in-Chief (1999-2000) of The Business Lawyer, a joint publication with the American Bar Association’s Section of Business Law. She earned a Bachelor of Arts (International Relations) in 1992 from the College of William and Mary.
