Alyssa M. Worsham is an associate of Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough LLP who practices in Charleston in the areas of data security and privacy, information technology and e-commerce, along with general litigation.

Ms. Worsham previously worked as an associate at a law firm in Hanoi, Vietnam where she practiced in telecommunications and IT law. She also has experience in WTO and free trade agreements, corporate formations, mergers and acquisitions, commercial contracts and renewable energy and climate change law.

Ms. Worsham earned a Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the University of Michigan Law School in 2009.

She earned an M.A. degree in Journalism in 2003 from New York University. During graduate school, she studied abroad at Trinity College in Dublin Ireland. In 2001, she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from New College.

While in law school, she was a member of the International Law Society, the Asia Law Society and served as an Associate Editor and Web Editor on the Michigan Journal of International Law.
