Brooks C. Marro is of counsel to Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough LLP in Atlanta where she practices in the areas of financial institutions and real estate.
Ms. Marro has extensive experience in the areas of commercial real estate and structured finance. As counsel to several financial institutions, Ms. Marro’s practice encompasses representation of commercial lenders in conduit and mezzanine transactions, including tenancy- in-common structured loans and multi-property loans. Ms. Marro’s work involves closing real estate loans to be securitized, as well as servicing work for commercial loans with tenancy in common features. Ms. Marro also represents developers in various aspects of buying and selling commercial real estate.
In 2001, Ms. Marro earned a Juris Doctor from Georgia State University College of Law. While in law school, Ms. Marro was a member of the Georgia State University Law Review, and recipient of the 1998 Moot Court Competition Outstanding Brief Award.
Ms. Marro is a member of the State Bar of Georgia, and is admitted to practice in Georgia.
