A member of the South Carolina Bar, Mr. Fritze was named South Carolina Pro Bono Lawyer of the Year for 2001. Mr. Fritze served as the chairman of the Corporate, Banking and Securities Law Section of the South Carolina Bar from 2002-03. He is a member of the American Bar Association and the Richland County Bar Association. Mr. Fritze previously practiced as a certified public accountant and was a member of the South Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants.
Mr. Fritze has been recognized in the Chambers USA: America's Leading Lawyers for Business publication for his experience in Corporate/Mergers and Acquisitions for the past seven years (2005-2011).
In 1991, Mr. Fritze earned a Juris Doctor from Wake Forest University School of Law where he was symposium editor of the Wake Forest University Law Review and a member of Phi Delta Phi and the Moot Court Board. He is the author of "Comment, Drug Testing of Government Employees and Government Regulated Industries: Expounding the Fourth Amendment," 25 WAKE FOREST L. REV., 1990. Mr. Fritze earned a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting, magna cum laude, from Wofford College in 1984.
