Enan Stillman is an associate in Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough’s Atlanta office, where he practices in the areas of transportation and logistics, mergers and acquisitions, debt and equity financing, fund formation and investment management, land use and general corporate law and governance. Mr. Stillman serves as outside general counsel for several third party logistics companies, advising on matters related to corporate governance and counseling on agreements, material contracts, insurance claims, cargo damage and theft.  Mr. Stillman also represents motor carriers, shippers, freight fowarders, truck factoring companies and trucking insurers in a variety of matters.

Prior to joining Nelson Mullins, Mr. Stillman worked for another well-known Atlanta firm where he served as outside general counsel for numerous nonprofit corporations and advised small- and medium-sized companies with respect to organizational issues and general corporate matters.

He is the author of numerous articles including "Holding Freight Hostage: The Legal Wild West of the Transportation Industry," The Logistics Journal, September 2011;   "Highway Robbery: Adapting to the Cargo theft Epidemic by Managing Supply Chain Risk," The Logistics Journal, January 2012; and "Highway Robbery: Best Practices for Dealing with Cargo Theft," Logistics Journal, February 2012. 

In addition to being an active pro bono practitioner, Mr. Stillman is a member of the Board of Directors of the Georgia International Law Enforcement Exchange, and is also a member of the communications committee of Transportation Intermediaries Association, the Transportation Lawyers Association, the American Bar Association and the Georgia Bar Association. Mr. Stillman holds the honorary rank of Major in the Fulton County Police Department.

He earned a Juris Doctor in 2008 from Emory University Law School. He was the recipient of the 2008 Attorneys’ Title Guaranty Fund Award for Atlanta. In 1999, Mr. Stillman earned his Bachelor of Arts in Middle Eastern Studies from Emory University.
