Kathryn Kling is a partner of Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough LLP practicing in Washington, D.C. in the areas of financial services, mergers and acquisitions, and securities.
Ms. Kling represents both issuers and underwriters in all manner of public and private securities offerings for equity, debt, and trust preferred securities and both acquirers and sellers in public and private merger and acquisition transactions.
Ms. Kling also counsels clients on a variety of strategic alliances and other transactional matters relating to credit cards and payment systems, including the creation of affinity and co-branded credit card programs.
Ms. Kling is a member of the District of Columbia Bar and the State Bar of Massachusetts.
Prior to joining Nelson Mullins, Ms. Kling practiced law with another leading law firm in Washington, D.C.
Ms. Kling earned a masters of law and letters in banking from the Boston University School of Law in 1996. She earned a juris doctor from Boston College Law School in 1994, and a bachelor's degree in political science from The University of the South in 1991.
