Keith Poston is an associate in Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough's Columbia office who practices in the areas of bankruptcy and creditors' rights, consumer financial services litigation, and financial institutions.
Prior to attending law school, Mr. Poston worked as a controller and accountant for an international chemical and textile manufacturing corporation.
Mr. Poston earned a Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, in 2009 from Valparaiso University School of Law where he served as a legal writing teaching assistant and a research fellow in the Legal Research Department. He received honors awards in the following subjects: Legal Research, Pre-Trial Skills, International Criminal Law and Human Rights, and Bankruptcy.
In 2002, Mr. Poston earned a Bachelor of Science, cum laude, from Erskine College with a double major in Business Administration (Economics emphasis) and History. While at Erskine, Mr. Poston was a member of the Omicron Delta Kappa and Phi Alpha Delta honor societies and was the recipient of the Jacob O. Kamm full-tuition scholarship, the Wall Street Journal Award, and the American Legion service award.
