Maurice D. Holloway is of counsel to Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough LLP and is based in Greenville where he practices in the areas of corporate and business entity law, taxation, estate planning and business law. A member of the South Carolina Bar, his experience includes the formation of corporations, partnerships and limited liability companies, structuring like-kind exchanges, estate and business succession planning and mergers and acquisitions.

Mr. Holloway is a member of the American Bar Association and the Greenville County Bar Association. Additionally, he is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the South Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants.

Mr. Holloway earned a Master of Laws in Taxation from the University of Florida in 1995. In 1994, he earned a Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the University of South Carolina School of Law where he was named to The Order of the Coif, and served as a member of the South Carolina Law Review, and the Order of Wig and Robe. From Clemson University, he earned a Master of Arts in Accounting in 1988 and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting in 1987.
