Before joining Nelson Mullins, Mr. Nardelli was vice president of Federal Affairs for Ron Klink and Associates, which provided a wide range of public and private sector clients government relations, media relations, coalition building, and business development services. He was responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Washington office as well as the general management of federal affairs for the company's clients.
Mr. Nardelli's government career began in 1997 when he was hired by Congressman Ron Klink, and he continued to work for Mr. Klink until 2000, at which time he accepted a top position with Congressman John Tierney.
He has held every job in a congressional office over the course of his five years of government service and has worked on both House and Senate campaigns. His network of contacts within the federal government is vast, and, after having worked for members assigned to committees such as Commerce, Government Reform, and Education and the Workforce, his knowledge of regulatory reform and public policy are broad. He left the federal government in May 2002 to again work with Mr. Klink at Ron Klink and Associates.
Mr. Nardelli received his undergraduate degree in Philosophy from Trinity College in Hartford, Conn., and his Masters Degree in Philosophy and Public Policy from the George Washington University. He is a native of Pittsburgh, but has lived on Capitol Hill in Washington since 1997.
