OSHA Recordkeeping / Ergonomics Update
OSHA's Public Meeting March 9:
On Tuesday, March 9, OSHA will hold a public meeting on its proposed recordkeeping rule. The rule will require employers to document musculoskeletal disorders (MSD) as part of their injury and illness reporting requirements. The MSD column will be added to the OSHA 300 Log maintained under OSHA's recordkeeping regulations.
The public meeting will be held from 9:00am to 5:00pm in C 5320, Room 6 at the U.S. Department of Labor, 200 Constitution Ave., NW, Washington, DC 20210. The contact at Department of Labor for the meeting is Ms. Veneta Chatmon who may be reached at chatmon.veneta@dol.gov or (202) 693-1999.
