Atlanta Bar Elects Malone and Leach
ATLANTA (July 1, 2010) - The Atlanta Bar Association has re-elected Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough Atlanta partner Wade Malone as a delegate to the American Bar Association for the 2010-2011 year. Mr. Malone served as president of the association in 2003-2004.
In addition, Atlanta partner Karen K. Leach will serve as chair of the Atlanta Bar Association's Corporate Counsel Section for the 2010-2011 year. She previously served as vice chair/chair elect.
Mr. Malone practices in the areas of business litigation and product liability defense. His complex litigation practice has included representation of both plaintiffs and defendants in a broad range of complex litigation in both state and federal courts throughout the United States, including business, personal injury/product liability, antitrust, restrictive covenant and construction litigation.
Ms. Leach's practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, private equity, securities, and corporate law. She has represented companies, investment banks, and investors in public offerings, private placements, and M&A transactions in numerous industries, including banking, financial services, logistics, biotechnology, and e-commerce.
