Andrew Connor Joins Nelson Mullins in Myrtle Beach
MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (Nov. 17, 2011) – Andrew Connor has joined Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough's Myrtle Beach office as an associate. He practices in the areas of general and corporate litigation.
Mr. Connor is a former summer associate of the Firm, where he gained experience in corporate litigation, torts, wills and trusts, bank foreclosures and family law. He also gained experience while working as a research assistant for a South Carolina law firm before law school.
Mr. Connor earned a Juris Doctor from Vanderbilt University Law School, where he participated in the Cecil D. Branstetter Litigation & Dispute Resolution Program. He served as secretary of the Vanderbilt Trial Advocacy Society Executive Board and was a member of the Mock Trial Board. Mr. Connor was also an international student mentor and a member of Phi Delta Phi legal fraternity.
In 2006, he earned a Bachelor of Arts, magna cum laude, in Philosophy from the University of South Carolina Honors College. He was a 2006 recipient of the Josiah Morse Award recognizing student excellence in the philosophy department and was also inducted into Phi Beta Kappa.
