Corporate and Finance Attorney Phil Cooper Joins Nelson Mullins in Atlanta

ATLANTA (Jan. 31, 2011) – Philip A. Cooper has joined Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough's Atlanta office where he is a member of the Firm's Corporate and Securities Group. Mr. Cooper has significant experience in mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, debt and equity financings, and general corporate counseling. Mr. Cooper advises both publicly and privately held companies in a wide variety of industries, including financial services, insurance, staffing, and technology, among others. 

Mr. Cooper currently serves on the Board of Directors of the American-Israel Chamber of Commerce (Southeast Region).  He earned his Juris Doctor, with high honors, from Duke University School of Law, where he served as Articles Editor for the Duke Law Journal. He earned a Bachelor of Arts, cum laude, from Tulane University.
