(Feb. 3, 2011) -- Six Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough attorneys based in Raleigh and Winston-Salem have been selected by their peers to the list of 2011 North Carolina Super Lawyers© in four practice areas. Raleigh partner Terri Gardner also received the highest point totals in the review process and is named in the Top 50 Women North Carolina Super Lawyers 2011, while Raleigh partner William H. Gammon garnered the highest point totals and is named among the top 100 attorneys in North Carolina.

The organization asks attorneys who have been in practice for at least five years to nominate the best attorneys they've personally observed in action. Lawyers may nominate attorneys in their own firm if they also nominate attorneys from other firms. Lawyers cannot nominate themselves. The final selection is made after research on the attorneys by the organization.
