Nelson Mullins Elects Two to Partnership in Raleigh

RALEIGH (Jan. 6, 2011) – The partners of Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough LLP have elected Raleigh attorneys Steve Martin and Joseph H. Lanier to partnership. Mr. Martin was a former associate. Mr. Lanier was a former of counsel.

  • Mr. Martin practices in the areas of business litigation, product liability, and state and local tax law.
  • Mr. Lanier is a member of the Firm's government relations team, where he represents clients before federal, state, and local governments.  Mr. Lanier is former legislative director to U.S. Sen. Jesse Helms (R-NC) and former legal counsel to U.S. Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-KY).
