Nelson Mullins' Campbell Elected to Ten at the Top
GREENVILLE (Dec. 14, 2011) -- Ten at the Top (TATT), an organization created to foster collaboration and planning in the Upstate region, has added John Campbell, a partner in Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough's Greenville office, to its current 50-member board comprised of business, nonprofit, and civic leaders from the 10 different counties in the Upstate.
A certified specialist in taxation law, Mr. Campbell has worked extensively in the areas of estate and succession planning and probate, executive deferred compensation with for-profit corporations and tax-exempt organizations, mergers and acquisitions and ERISA. He has substantial experience in working as legal counsel to corporate and not-for-profit Boards of Directors on governance, fiduciary, regulatory and executive compensation matters.
TATT board members are charged with representing the region and their community in fostering trust and collaboration within the region, serving as an advocate for regional thinking within their specific city or county, assisting TATT in engaging elected officials, business, and community leaders within their community, and supporting general organizational functions. They must also be willing to attend board meetings as well as other events or committee meetings as directed by the regional initiatives.
