Walbridge Joins EducationCounsel as Senior Policy Advisor

WASHINGTON, DC (March 24, 2011) -- Jessica Walbridge has joined EducationCounsel as senior policy advisor. Ms Walbridge will focus on both internal management and strategy and client work.

Prior to joining the Firm Ms. Walbridge served as the Director of Fiscal Management at the Office of the State Superintendent of Education for the District of Columbia. In that role she managed the agency’s $400 million budget and served as the lead for Federal education grants and the management of the American Reinvestment and Recovery Act (ARRA). Before serving as the Director of Fiscal Management she held the positions of Deputy Chief of Staff and Director of Planning & Performance.

Ms. Walbridge earned her Masters of Business Administration in 2003 from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School and her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Education, cum laude, from Lehigh University in 1993.
